Finally, some pictures of my Bathroom!

welcome to my bathroom maker over, the longest bathroom makeover in living history I suspect. ( If you follow my instagram profile you'll know I've been busy painting the window this week) It's taken me over a year to get this far because I wanted the entire bathroom tiled and I'm no tiller, and as we couldn't afford to get some one in, I had to do it myself, pretty much one row at a time. LOL 

But I finally feel like I'm winning, the end is in sight, with just a bit of finishing off to do, some bathroom cabinets to get for over the sink and some flooring and that will be it!

I decided to paint the sash windows in B&Q's slate grey Matt finish for wood, to break up all those white tiles, and to pick out  the grey in the mosaic tiles over the bath.  Our house is an old cottage dating back to the 1800's but I didn't really want anything traditional looking, so its been a balancing act getting the  look right, and I think the grey paint makes a feature of the sash windows, but still ties in with the rest of the room which is clean lines and modern. 

We bought the bathroom suite, taps, tiles, plumbing,  and wood used for the boxing in of pipes and creating  a shelf all from our local B&Q, my inspiration for the makeover came from a local shop in town, I would of loved to have a floating sink and toilet, but the budget didn't allow, nor did the pipe work.  But overall I'm very pleased with the out come, and its a darn sight better then what it use to look like!!
