Make space for a book corner.

While I love the internet and its huge assortment of homes and interiors blogs, nothing beats the sight feel and smell of the printed page does it, so with my new Bloomingville Butterfly Chair and some  IKEA photo shelves I decided to create a cosy book corner in my office so that I can enjoy  a little interior inspiration  from time to time with a few of my favourite books to hand.

  1. I love the unexpected pop of bright pink on the stool beside the shelf. The pieces look interesting and your post just gave me an idea for my baby's nursery. A little corner shelving--not for books--but for some toys and little baby stuff to make her nursery a little more interesting. Thanks! Hey, dealshopperz(dot)com is a good site you may want to check out for beautiful design inspiration too.

  3. The way this adds a bit of colour to the room is gorgeous, and so practical too! I find my magazines always end up in drawers and are only brought out on the odd occasion, but this would make me revisit them much more regularly. I'm envious of your whole book corner though, it looks so cosy :-)

  4. I really love this solution. Is so elegant... even when I thought that magazines and newspapers were always against any kind of decoration. Your idea is very good and practical. Congratulations!
