Travel Outfit.

So as I mentioned yesterday, I'm off to Cornwall for two weeks to visit family (Yah)  and have a bit of a holiday, the boat tickets are booked with Condor Ferries (travelling Ocean Traveller for a bit more comfort for the 4 hour journey)  the bags are more or less packed, everything is sorted and its' just my travel outfit to sort out,  I hate travelling at the best of times and as I'm going to be spending a large part of the day sitting down,  I want to be comfortable, so it's comfy worn in cropped boot cut jeans, stripe top for that holiday vibe, light parka, flats, something to read, and lip balm, because my lips always dry out when I travel.
My Husband has packed his travel DVD player also to watch some films, and I might download a film to the Ipad, but iCloud has them  held to ransom at the moment, (am I the only one who can't figure out what iCloud does?)  Hopefully we might get some nice weather witha trip to The Eden Project,  and I'll share some photos to Instagram

Going Nude.

Caramel Cupcake by Rimmel.

Nail art might be all the rage, but personally I prefer something a little  more chic, chic and simple, and easy to achieve because I can just about manage to paint two coats of varnish on my nails without my fingers looking like they have been caught in a blender, and the colour nude (in this case Caramel Cupcake by Rimmel) is very forgiving.
A tip I picked up from my daughter is to paint your dominant hand first, in other words, if you are right handed, paint your right hand first, then your left, it's something to do with how the brain works apparently, in any case it works for me, most times...

The Nude look, looks set to be a big trend going into 2016,  with barely there makeup and colours being the order of the day, check out the Dare to Bare Nude Collection by Kate Moss for Rimmel.

Late summer sun outfit

Late summer sun outfit
Well after a wet and windy week, this weekend sees the summer sunshine return once more, Jersey is basking in beautiful blue skies and  blue sea, so I've swapped back into my shorts and t-shirt, but added a bigger jumper for when the mornings and evening get chilly, something like this.

Lets get Physical with George - Workout Wear.

Spring is getting up close and personal, and with the lighter evening I've been trying to fit in some power walks around our lanes at home, so I've been on the lookout for some budget friendly sports wear to buy, and our local  George shop by Asda, seems to fit the bill, they currently have quite a nice selection.

Make your own little Hermès bag.

Okay so its not really a bag, more of an envelope, but its a Hermès  design, and its probably the only way I'll ever get one!  I found the idea via my new book,( Parisian Chic, A style guide by ines de la Fressange which is full of style tips on how to dress like a Parisian,) at www.hermes.com, follow the 'Discover Hèrmes  link to be taken to a page where you can find all kinds of discoveries.
To get the little elephant bag/envelope go here, I thought it would be nice to make a few of them and use as a lunch date invitation idea,  a ladies  that lunch, lunch date invite,  cute or what!
